Mike Steenkamp

Mike has over 18 years of FX sales & dealing experience. He has built FX Payments businesses in London & South Africa. In 2005, he Co-founded FC Exchange, one of the biggest money remitters in the UK. During his time at FC Exchange, the company experienced exponential growth, with an FX turnover in excess of £ 1 billion per annum. Mike is a JSE registered Security Trader and holds several international qualifications including CF30 for Financial Derivatives & an International Certificate in Advanced Wealth Management. He also holds RE1 & RE5 qualifications & is currently the authorised KI for FX Paymaster.

Lyle Pretorius

Lyle has over 24 years of FX experience. He was a successful FX Trader at Standard Bank for many years. He went on to establish an FX brokerage business “First Forex” which in 2012 was acquired by Sasfin Bank. Lyle has developed FX trading strategies and risk management models for some of SA’s biggest treasury outsourcing businesses & banks. He has a passion for developing payment systems and is the brains behind our innovative new payment platform.

Sephorah Emery

Sephorah joined FX Paymaster in 2016 and was appointed a Director of the business in 2020. She has over 8 years of experience in Intermediary Financial Services and has helped create several internal processes to streamline client onboarding and payments efficiently.

She is passionate about providing great service and educating clients. What she loves most about FX Paymaster is how the company consistently looks for ways to use knowledge, experience and technology better. And she thinks that’s really cool.
